Hospital Arts & Crafts Drive
The Transportation Club recently completed the DVD Children's Movie Drive for the Children's Hospital at the University of Minnesota. We are proud to say that this effort was a tremendous success for the Kids at the Hospital. We donated over (400) DVD Movies for the Hospital, and we extend a gigantic Thank You to all who participated.
As previously mentioned at the Monthly Luncheon Meetings, we will now kick off our second "Event" for the Kids, which will be Arts and Crafts related. We will accumulate these items at the January 8th Luncheon, and the February 12th Luncheon. Rather than open the book for any item being donated, we requested a list of most often used items that we focus our attention on. This list was condensed to (6) descriptive items:
The Arts and Crafts Items that we will be collecting and donating to the Children's Hospital are as follows:
- Crayola Brand Washable Markers
- Construction Paper
- Play-Doh
- White T-Shirts (Infant Size XL)
- Watercolor Paints
- Watercolor Paint Books
