Membership
Thank you for your interest in the Transportation Club of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Founded more than 70 years ago, the Transportation Club offers a wonderful opportunity for members of all ranges of experience the opportunity to network and collaborate on all issues and challenges that we face in the supply chain environment. Currently, the Transportation Club has over 300 members representing shippers and logistics providers throughout the country. We believe the advantages to our members are:
- Familiarity with all influences affecting the transportation industry to enable better preparation for future strategies.
- Participation in the education and enhancement of the transportation profession and industry.
- Opportunities to interface with multiple logistics providers of goods and services for supply chain and logistic activities.
We provide avenues for professionals to get together, become informed, develop alliances, make decisions, and have a little fun while doing it. Some of the benefits and activities of membership are listed below. As a community service, we donate annually to the University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital. Our members can volunteer their time one evening a month at the craft and game parties and special holiday events we schedule for the children and families staying at the hospital. Opportunities are also available for companies to sponsor these events.

Educational Opportunities
Good food and company are reasons enough to attend our monthly seminars, but you’ll also appreciate the knowledgeable speakers who keep you updated with the very latest information and rules in the transportation industry. Our programming is intended to keep our members informed of current issues as well as address issues relative to the diverse make-up of our membership. Build your skills and expertise with our monthly education programs, as well as the Expo held in the spring.
Annual Expo
Our annual Expo in April is a must-attend event for every logistics professional. The day starts with a luncheon and well-known keynote speaker. In the afternoon, vendors in the transportation industry have exhibit booths to display their products and services and give you the opportunity to network and meet with potential customers and service providers. It’s a great way to see what’s new in the industry and keep up to date on what’s happening.
Subscription to Transportation News
As a member, you will receive three issues yearly of Transportation News, the Transportation Club’s newsletter. Transportation News is published to bring members news of meetings, activities, local and regional events, pertinent articles, and changes in legislation and policy requirements that affect the transportation industry. The newsletter also provides opportunities to advertise your product or service at a very competitive rate.
Involvement and Leadership Opportunities
Get on the Board of Directors or join a committee that interests you—or lead one! Members can find a variety of opportunities to network with colleagues and improve our profession for all.
