Hospital Permanent Fund

The Transportation Club of Minneapolis and St. Paul is proud to announce to formation of a Permanent Fund for the benefit of the University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital.

Officially Titled “Transportation Club of Minneapolis and St. Paul Fund for the University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital” has a defined Purpose “To support the activities of the Child-Family Life Program within the University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital

The Transportation Club Fund was established with a commitment of $95,000 over a 5-year Period. On November 11, 2008, the initial contribution of $35,000 was presented to Joslyn Biever, Development Officer, Minnesota Medical Foundation at the University of Minnesota. In addition to this contribution, the Transportation Club will donate a minimum of $60,000 in over the next four years.

“It was time for the Club to take another step in our Charity efforts and to do something that will have long-lasting effects for the Kids” Tom Krieger, Vice President of the Club stated. The Transportation Club will direct the ultimate use of the Funds and has used the money to purchase laptop computers for the hospital rooms.
