Tom Krieger, McCollister’s Transportation |

Tom Krieger is currently employed as the Sales Manager for McCollister’s Transportation systems, Inc., Agent for Mayflower Transit. He has been working in the Transportation Industry since 1972. Tom’s first job was a Teamster, loading and unloading the trucks for a Common Carrier. He has been in Transportation Sales since 1981. Tom was a member of Twin Cities Chapter of Delta Nu Alpha until its demise, and has been involved with the Transportation Club since 1982. He would like to see the Transportation Club grow its membership to the levels it enjoyed through the ‘80s and ‘90s.

Bill is currently in his ninth year as a Customized Training Coordinator at Dakota County Technical College (DCTC) in Rosemount, MN, where he specializes in transportation-related training programs, with special emphasis on DCTC’s nationally-recognized Truck Driver Training program. Bill spent 27 years in the trucking transportation industry, working in operations, sales, and logistics. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Trucking Association (MTA), along with the MTA’s Workforce Task Force. He has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Transportation Club of Minneapolis and St. Paul and served as Transportation Club Vice President and also President.

Duane has been involved in distribution or transportation for more than 20 years, starting in 1985. From 1985 to 1991, Duane served as Operations Analyst with Target Stores T-551 Fridley Distribution Center. From 1991 to 1997, he was in cost analysis with Hyman Freightways, an LTL carrier based in Roseville, MN. From 1997 to 1999, Duane served as Warehouse Engineer at Hoffman Enclosures Inc. in Anoka and, since 1999, has been the Transportation Engineer at Hoffman Enclosures in Anoka. Duane has previously served a two-year term (2001–2003) as a Director on the Transportation Club Board.

Nancy is Regional Director/Northern Region for Lakeville Motor Express, a Minnesota-based carrier celebrating its 86th year. She has been involved with the transportation industry for the past 20 years, including ten years with ABF Freight Systems and nine years at USF Holland. Nancy began as a biller who couldn’t type, and spent time in collections and claims before entering the sales arena in 1992. She feels that it has been an exciting challenge to work in an industry where no two days are ever alike.
As a board member, Nancy hopes to help encourage people in all modes and functions of transportation, and to join a vital club that not only provides an extensive arena for networking but also gives back to both the industry and the community we live in.

Danielle has been employed for more than six years at C.H. Robinson Worldwide, a third party logistics company based out of Eden Prairie that provides multi-modal transportation solutions throughout the world. Danielle started her transportation career at age 16, loading trucks for Mach 1 Transportation (a family business), then continuing on in their office and helping to manage the business.
As a board member, Danielle hopes to encourage new membership and support her fellow board members in finding new and innovative networking opportunities for the transportation community.

Bud Hale, Multi Mode Solutions |

Bud is President of Multi Mode Solutions. Working primarily with carriers in the transportation industry since 1983, Bud has been involved with LTL, TL, Air Freight, Small Parcels, International Shipping, and Transportation Management Solutions. Bud has sold, managed, and been involved at all levels of the transportation industry, including the executive level, throughout his career. In today’s market, his focus is with “Guaranteed” Transportation Management Solutions.
Bud plans to focus on two areas: participation and volunteerism.
Family comes first, as Bud has five children ranging in ages from 21 to 4. Bud and his wife Laurie (who is also in the transportation industry) live in Zimmerman, MN.

Linda Schmidt, Pilot Air Freight |

Linda has more than 20 years of experience in the transportation industry. She began her transportation career with UPS and has an extensive knowledge of all aspects of the industry. Linda then had the opportunity to work with LTL in sales management at Con-Way, then airfreight with Exel. Her success and experience has led her to the position of Sales Manager with Pilot Air Freight since July 2006. Her volunteering efforts have been with The Fairview Children’s Hospital (through the Transportation Club of Minneapolis and St. Paul), The Salvation Army, Special Olympics, and The Way of The Shepherd.
Linda would like to enhance the partnership between the Transportation Club and the Fairview Children’s Hospital. Knowing firsthand what an enormous difference the Club makes to each child and his or her family, she is committed to the vision the Transportation Club has set forth.
Linda resides with her husband and three children in Ham Lake.

Michael is a 30-year veteran of the transportation/logistics/supply chain industry and has experience in all modes of transportation, ranging from dry van, temp control, LTL, flatbed/specialized, ocean, rail, air, and the financial settlement piece. He has worked with, consulted, or has done projects for such companies as 3M, Ecolab, General Electric, Cargill, US Bank - PowerTrack, the Department of Defense, and many others, along with more than 70 of the top 100 carriers on the Transport Topics “Top 100” list. He is a seasoned, experienced professional in this industry. Along with his work at Warehouse Specialists, Inc. as Manager, Sales/Marketing/Logistics, over the past 20+ years he has also operated an organization by the name of “Second Chances - A New Dawn” (www.second-chances.org). Michael has been a member of The Transportation Club of Minneapolis & St. Paul for 15+ years, serves on the Board of Directors of the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA), and is also a member of CSCMP, NITL, ISP, WERC, IWLA, as well as being active in his community and church.
Mike and his wife Marty have been married for 21 years, reside in Rosemount, and are the proud parents of six children ranging in age from 20 to 1.
